Poetry From The Cud:
Hips and Hipsters
Andrew Coorey

I’m going back now several years
to a fellow who told me a joke
And it’s not fit for everyone’s ears
In fact probably just bloke to bloke

He said “where do young ladies have hair
That is black and in little curls, tight?”
And I told him that I knew just where
And I named that place kept out of sight

Well he reared up with mock indignation
“you’ve a dirty sick mind don’t you see?
I was hoping you’d tell me a nation.
It’s the tropical isles of Fiji! ”

Really fashions and trends can be weird
People mimic what’s current and new
So Vaginas no longer have beards
But there’s plenty of c-nts round that do
